Tennessee Lake Management and Tennessee Pond Management: Two Small Ponds on One Property

We did a little fishing today on two ponds we manage about twenty miles from Columbia.  One pond is about 1/2-acre in size, and the other is about 2.5 acres.  Here are some of the fish we caught from the small pond:

The .95-lb. bluegill is a hand-painted female and came from the same pond as the smallmouth.  The hand-paints have been in the pond two years; the smallmouth have been in the pond 21 months and were stocked at 5-7".  Smallmouth have an average lifespan of ten to twelve years...imagine what this smallie will look like in another seven years.
